Since its formation in 2005, the Energy Sector Sustainability Table (ESST) has produced several documents and links to these will be found off this page.

The ESST believes that Canadians should have a full appreciation of the significance of energy in the country’s economy and environment. In light of this, the ESST tasked Environment Canada and Natural Resources Canada to work with key stakeholders to develop two products – the Environmental Scan of Canada's Energy Sector and the Economic Scan of Canada's Energy Sector. The two products serve as companion reports intended to provide important environmental and economic information to help decision-makers and policy-makers make sustainable choices and to inform public attitudes and perceptions about the energy sector in Canada.

The ESST also formed the Energy Efficiency Working Group (EEWG) to provide the ESST with an expert perspective on how to induce energy efficiency improvements in Canada and identify barriers to these changes. Between 2006 and 2008, the EEWG developed a Energy Efficiency Foundation Paper, eight issue papers and a Final Report. These products are intended for use by decision-makers in both the public and private sectors.

The Forest Sector Sustainability Table (FSST) and the Mining Sector Sustainability Table (MSST) have not produced any documents to date.
